Thank you for supporting the event. I appreciate that questions/answers are less satisfying than electronic punching or Alex’s plates but those would require more effort.  Especially when the planner is sunning himself in Crete! I have eliminated some obvious guesswork on the part of one competitor but otherwise been lenient, especially where someone else’s comment or crossing out confirms that you had been there. Mike Gardner had also not appreciated that plates on seats might be OK to read on a cold winter’s day but on a warm summer’s evening with well dressings being set up they can be hidden or it is embarrassing asking people to move only to find it is the wrong seat!

 

I think you will find Oakwood next Wednesday evening more objective with a larger scale map and circles with centres marked.
